What happens on the day.
When your squad arrives at Delta Force Paintball, they’re pumped for an epic day of paintball action. Curious about what to expect? Here’s a breakdown of your arrival experience:.
There are two sessions available: one in the morning from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and another in the afternoon from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. You can select your preferred session when making your reservation. Upon arrival, you’ll check in, gear up in paintball attire, receive a quick briefing on handling your paintball gun, and then dive into the fun, joyously pelting other players with paintballs.
Opportunities and Registration
Once you step out of the car, make your way towards the entrance. You might be directed to join a line where a friendly staff member, stationed at a table filled with treats, shares tips for enhancing your sessions with those willing to listen. While manoeuvring through the registration area, you’ll find enjoyable items and valuable information. Have you already completed the online registration form for your group? If yes, it’s a smart move. You don’t have to wait for a free spot at the table; simply proceed to the next stage of your session by providing your name to the waiting marshal.
Equipment Issue and Base Camp
Once you step into our base camp, you’ll receive all your combat gear for the day. Everything you spot in the picture below, except for the paintball gun, comes at no extra cost when you pay the admission fee, available for your use throughout the day.
Of course, how much you choose to wear it is your decision, but wearing a paintball mask is mandatory. Most of this gear is unique to Toronto Paintball, meticulously developed by us over the years to be the best in the industry. Now, find a spot at the base camp to settle in and prepare for the game. The robust fencing ensures your secure area remains free from stray shots throughout the day. You don’t have to put on the mask just yet. Snacks, beverages, and additional paintballs and upgrade packages are available for purchase.
Safety Briefing & Team Organisation
In short, no one engages in paintballing until the marshals confirm that everyone has paid attention during the brief safety briefing. This session covers crucial safety protocols, guidelines for reacting when hit, or requiring assistance from a marshal. Proper handling of your paintball gun is also taught, making it essential to listen and focus. Additionally, teams are formed from the gathered groups of players.
Paintball Gun Issue
Equipped with the necessary knowledge, it’s time to don your mask, proceed to the gun locker, and collect your weapon. When out in the field, your paintball gun becomes your closest companion, so take good care of it. Originally used for marking trees in the forestry industry, marshals refer to these as markers, which is their correct term. Are you eager to test it out before the action starts? Right after receiving your marker, you’ll find a practice target range where you can take a few shots to adjust your aim. As confidence builds, let’s dive into the paintball game.
Let the action begin
Your team will be accompanied by one or more of our highly trained marshals, and you’ll absolutely appreciate having them with you! These individuals are exceptional. Unlike many marshals from our competitors who seem disengaged and disinterested while overseeing a paintball match, our marshals are passionate about their roles. They’ll guide you to the paintball game zone, which boasts movie-quality layouts and structures specifically designed for paintball. They’ll also provide an enthusiastic overview of the upcoming game. And if you believe they’ll leave you to face the opponents alone, you’re mistaken. Your marshals will charge into battle alongside you, though they won’t be firing shots—that’s your responsibility.
The marshals serve as a blend of a field commander, medic (for equipment maintenance), observer, and referee. They keep a close eye on younger players to ensure they’re having fun and participating safely. Offering guidance and tips on achieving game objectives, they boost confidence and inspire all players under their care.
Before you realize it, your initial game concludes, revealing whether you possess the spirit of Rambo, relentlessly firing ammunition at opponents, or if you lean towards a stealthier approach as a silent assassin. Will you lead your team to triumph? Or will you fulfill your role as a valuable soldier by dutifully following your leader’s commands? Whoever you become amidst wielding a weapon and facing enemy fire, you’ll soon discover.
Accolades, Presentations & Heading For Home
Feeling a tinge of sadness as the day winds down, you huddle with your group, exchanging enthusiastic tales of the day’s action. Yet, the marshals have one more task—it’s time for the presentation. They tally the day’s scores and nominate recipients for the Top Gun Awards. The winning team is revealed, while those who stood out in the heat of battle earn recognition for bravery or outstanding contribution.
After returning your gear and bidding farewell to the devoted marshals, it’s time to head back to the car. But don’t anticipate a quiet journey! Excitement fills the air as everyone shares stories of their heroic feats and accomplishments during the missions. Another unforgettable day at Toronto Paintball draws to a close, marked by pledges from everyone in the car to return, many of whom undoubtedly will.
